The GIHOA’s Mission Statement

Golden Isles Homeowners Association (“GIHOA”) is a Voluntary non-profit organization whose goal is to encourage resident involvement through Social and Community Unity Events, Maintain and Enhance Property Values and Neighborhood Safety for all Residents while providing clear communication as a unified voice with all Municipalities and Departments within the City of Hallandale Beach for the benefit of all the residents in the Golden Isles community.

The GIHOA Board

The GIHOA is managed by 15 board members and 4 officers. The Board of Directors are elected by the Golden Isles HOA Members and serve a 3-year term. The Corporate Officers are elected by the Board of Directors and serve a 1-year term.

Marius Silvasan

  • Board Member and President

 

Marius is a finance industry visionary and current CEO of eCapital Corp. (eCapital). Marius has built eCapital into a fast-growing financial technology firm through an ambitious and impactful M & A strategy. His focus on strategically uniting a select group of companies has resulted in eCapital’s status as a powerhouse brand in the alternative finance industry. Prior to his leadership role with eCapital, Marius was CEO and Director of ONE Bio Corp and Tele Plus World Corp, accumulating over 20 years of experience in structured finance, syndication and mergers and acquisitions. As a Forbes Finance Council Member, he is an emerging thought leader on financial services and corporate leadership. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from HEC University in Montreal.

Regina Zinguer

  • Board Member and Vice-president

A native from Venezuela; Regina studied Business Administration and received a title as Magister in Finance. Regina also has more than 25 years of work experience as Finance manager in Procter & Gamble de Venezuela as well as Owner-Operator of a McDonalds franchise. Regina has experience in Real Estate and construction in Venezuela. In 2009 she moved to Miami with her family where she worked as a financial analyst in Gmed Inc in Weston FL until 2012. In 2012 Regina got her Real Estate license and has been working as a realtor since. Her skills in marketing as well as the importance that she gives to her clients make them comfortable when taking decisions. Regina has experience in Property management. Regina is a member of the National Association of Realtors and also member of the Miami Association of Realtors. Regina is very involved with her community and in addition to her role with the GIHOA Regina is also part of the Golden Isles Safe neighborhood district advisory board. Regina is also a volunteer of the Women’s International Zionist Organization in Florida

Fran Markowitz

  • Board Member and Treasurer

 

Fran is an Active Realtor Emeritus and works with her Partner Susan M. Lewis. Their Office is RE/MAX ALLSTARS. She Has been a Director of the Golden isles Home Owners Association (GIHOA) for many years and is currently the Treasurer. She is a Director of the Florida Association of Realtors, the Executive Secretary of the Rotary Club of Hallandale Beach -Aventura and a member of the Broward, Palm Beach and St Lucie Board of Realtors. Fran is born in New York State and is a graduate with a Bachelor of Economic Science from University of Rhode Island. Fran moved to Golden Isles in 1972 and was instrumental in working with her Late Husband David in Establishing the Golden Isles Safe Neighborhood District (GISND).

Aixa Roversi

  • Board Member and Secretary

Aixa Roversi started her work with non-profits over 30 years ago in Valencia, Venezuela. She was a board member and treasurer of Funcamama; a breast cancer organization focused on helping women with this condition. She volunteered in church organizations serving orphans and abandoned children.

Her professional life has focused on project management, accounting, and interior design. In Venezuela, Aixa worked as a project manager and accountant in family-owned businesses: a cookie and cracker manufacturer and a cattle ranching business. She came to the US in 2011. She graduated with an Associate degree in Interior Design in 2015 and worked in that field in Boca Raton and Miami for six years. Today, she works on Miami and Fort Lauderdale-based projects and manages several properties.
